Nosefrida: The Snot Sucker, review and giveaway

Moms of multiples, this is product is a must have. If you haven’t tried it, you don’t know what you’re missing.

Nosefrida is a Swedish product that has been popular in Europe for the last ten years. It was brought to the US by a mom who’s son caught a cold on vacation in Sweden. The bulb syringe wasn’t helping her little one and she discovered this product.

I saw this product and was immediately curious. No one hates the bulb syringe like my little B-Bear. He often gets stuffy and it is always a kicking, screaming battle. Not only that, but when the twins get the tiniest little boogie in their nose, I struggle with the bulb syringe to get it out. All the while they scream their tiny little heads off and I feel terrible at the end of the ordeal. I contacted Kaisa at Nosefrida and she was kind enough to send me one to review.

I will admit that I was skeptical at first, but it turns out that the Nosefrida is simply fabulous. It is so easy to use. Just set the tip of the Nosefrida against your child’s nostril, not inside the nostril. Put the red piece in your mouth and suck. You will be amazed at what you can clear out of your kids nose in one small suck. I agree, it sounds disgusting, but it is completely hygienic. Just make sure to change the filter and wash it with each use.

I use google.com/reader to track my favorit blogs, like you.

Short story: I'm a Nanny now but when DD#2 was tiny I'd wrap her in a towel and use tweezers to clean her nose. If she comes her to read she'll tell you it's true …. I did. We definitely need this goodie. Thanks.

As a pediatric nurse who uses a mechanical (super powerful) wall suction at the hospital to suction out kiddos noses, and then comes home to use a puny little bulb suction on my DD, I have to say the Nose Frida looks awesome!

I would love to try the nosefrida! My daughter HATES the bulb!
One reason I love it, from their web site is that it is BPA free and contains NO phthalates!!
