Thank God for Valco!

Today was the very first time I have taken a walk around the neighborhood in months! My bed rest pregnancy kept me from being on my feet and since the babies came, well things have been busy. Today the fresh air was calling to me. I bundled up the twins and toddler to the point where they looked like the worlds tiniest arctic exhibitioners, piled them into our Valco Tri-Mode Twin and off we went.
Mom of twins plus one, YOU NEED THIS STROLLER!!! It is so so important, for your own sanity to be able to get out of the house. Even just a walk around the block can do wonders for you on a hectic day.
Last summer after tons of research (aka asking other mamas of multiples), we decided that the Valco was the right stroller for us. Being nearly $700 new and the toddler seat sold separately, I began to search craigslist….which isn’t hopping in our area. I finally found one in great condition, complete with toddler seat and a few more accessories for $500 bucks and snatched it up. I’m happy to say it’s totally worth the investment. The only downfall is that it is quite large and not really practical for say, shopping at Macy’s with. But, what do you expect for a stroller that seats three?
So, ask yourself, “How much is your sanity worth?” and go out and invest in a Valco!

  1. Wow. That is a limousine of a stroller! It would have been handy when your brothers and sister were little. Do you remember that a lady gave us a double stroller when she saw Joseph beating on Joanna when I had them squished into one stroller in the mall? She was just horrified, and gave us the stroller two days later. She travelled for 60 miles to give it to us too! I am glad that you don't have to deal with that kind of situation with the little boys.
